And now they are expecting baby girl #2 anytime now. For their shoot we went to the Orange Empire Railway Museum because Albert works with trains but we couldn’t do it at his job site because it was too dangerous…  I loved how they chose to do a travelers, vintage theme! It was so darling to see how much Albert adores his wife! Their first daughter…Destiny, came to them as a little miracle after waiting 8 years to have a baby. Now their second miracle is soon to be here. So happy to be able to capture this special time in their lives.

 Norma is absolutely glowing! Her choice of outfits were perfect. The hats added a little old time elegance.

 Love how this picture tells so much…another miracle arriving, mommy ready with her baby carriage ready to start her new journey as a mother of 2…sweeet…

Meet baby Brooklyn. I met her mommy at a garage sale. Yup, she was so kind to lend me shabby chic furniture for a themed quince I was shooting. She was eight months pregnant at the time. So I wanted to return the favor by photographing her new baby girl.  I couldn’t wait to do this shoot in her shabby chic home. Can I say… INCREDIBLY YUMMY! lol

 

This is a very special piece of furniture…it belonged to Brooklyns grandma.

 Yeah there’s a door just standing against the wall in her livingroom. And Brooklyn is on the coffetable. Loved her ruffly tiffany blue bottoms and the headband were oh so adoreable!

 So cute she just has to be framed…

 Brooklyns mommy has had this doll bed FOREVER she said. She’s like, wow, finally it’s used for something. Yes, something like a sweet baby girl sleeping comfortably.

She looked like the old Mexican Cinema superstars. The hat and gloves added a little vintage edge to her look. I brought along a vintage suit suitcase to play with. The red added a big pop to the black & white colors of her dress.

 Judith was all giggly at the end of her shoot. It was hilarious! And the wind picked up to give her that hollywood blown hair…haha  Just perfect!

Her mom made all the mambo outfits. How incredible is that!

 Judith and her parents chose the mambo theme as a tribute to the  Divas of the Mexican Cinema of the late 1930′s. A tropical flavor was put into the floral arrangements and bamboo style furniture. The rustic walls of this outdoor location gave it an old world feel to the photoshoot.

 Judiths friends came along to join in on the fun. She didn’t share her tropical lemonade drink. haha…

 Her mambo outfit made by her mom. Makeup and hair by the ever so talented Crystal Roberts. Hair accessory by Crown of Glory Acessories. Florals and setup by me.

 And then they danced….MAMBO!!!!

This one item pulled the theme together.

You will see the amazing mambo outfit her mom made for her in the second part of this post but for now I will share the oh so incredible purple dress that Judith wore on her very special day. Being fifteen is so magiacl and so fleeting and these portraits truly captured the spirit of that wonderful age.

Judith you are one sweet, smart & beautiful young woman……happy sweet fifteen!

She wants to hire me to do her godsons senior pictures who attends Great Oak High as her graduation gift to him. How cool, right? After maybe 2 or 3 email exchanges she let’s me know she’s a photographer too…in Detroit, Michigan!  Wow! I was stoked now….another professional photographer is hiring me…that’s like the best compliment a photographer can get! Thank You Chris!

As I got in contact with Nicks mom to set up his appt. I found out that Nick was a baseball player for Great Oak and funny, Mesa was playing them that week.  So I introduced myself to him on the field and I find out he has the same jersey number as my son…22. haha.

For his senior pic we met at his school. His girlfriend Ashley came along to help out…she was the designated flashgirl, hehe We started on his varsity field.  Then we took a drive down towards Pala and we pulled over at a cool creek area. This was my first time shooting in this area and since the Pechanga reservation is very near…we were somewhat concerned about our surroundings. It was beautiful there! The scenery was magical.

   Then it happened. We heading back towards Great Oak when I saw a shack on the side of the street. We were about 20 feet from the street I took about 5 pictures and all of a sudden we see a Pechanga Ranger truck speeding towards us. He stops by us, comes out of his truck, I walk up to him and he asks if we are tribal members, I say no, he asks if we were invited by a tribal member, I say no. I was confused because we were not on the reservation, we were on the side of the street. Well he wouldn’t have it, he took our names down, searched the car and really made a big fuss over nothing. GEEZ! Now I’m wondering what was in that shack…lol So sorry for that Nick.

  We finished at a clubhouse where we asked permission to take pictures inside their lobby area and they said NO!! OMG! I was really floored. Usually I get really nice people who welcome us taking pictures of their local senior students, but not here. Oh well, I got great pictures outside.

Well Nick, was that an experience or what…lol  BTW…I’m not shooting out there again…I’ll stay in warm & fuzzy Murrieta….;)

We had fun galavanting around Old Town Murrieta.  We bumped into some pretty white horses that went perfect with her last outfit…a stunning blue gown….and the boots just made it fun! 

Briana, may you have a blast making all your future goals become reality!     Of course we had to bring atleast one chair too….;)
